So you're headed to Walt Disney World ... but where to start? Disney offers such a wealth of fantastic resorts, restaurants, and top-drawer entertainment experiences it can be difficult to choose which fantasy you wish to indulge. How best can you plan a visit in which each day comes with the finest Disney has to offer? Here are a few tips that can make the difference between a mediocre trip and a fantastic one:

Best Time of Year for a Disney Vacation

If at all possible plan a trip to Disney during the slower seasons of the year when you'll find half-filled parks, little, disney acting auditions, waiting in line, and lower hotel rates. If you can stand the guilt and your children are good students, take them out of school, whatever, to avoid the busiest times of the year. If not, the summer months or holidays, disney acting auditions, are certainly better than nothing and, with a bit of planning and a lot of energy, can be more than enjoyable. These are the least busy times of the year: the second week of January through the first week of February (avoiding the Martin Luther King holiday weekend in January); the third week of August until the beginning of October; the month of November excluding Thanksgiving weekend; the week after Thanksgiving until the week of Christmas, a special time when the, disney acting auditions, parks and resorts are festively decorated for the holidays.

Best Deluxe Resort

Best Home Away From Home Property

and corkscrews in the dark through a Hollywood night. It's a scream come true!

Best Way to Spend an Evening Without the Kids

If your child is under 4 or not potty trained, call Kid's Nite Out at 407-827-5444 for in-room childcare. Then head to one of Disney's world-class restaurants. Cruises are offered nightly with your choice of either a pontoon boat seating 10 or a beautiful reproduction of a 1930s Chris Craft accommodating 6-7 people. Although, disney acting auditions, reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance, they sometimes sell out on the first day. Call 407-WDW-PLAY.

Best Way to Spend a Lazy Afternoon

When your muscles are aching and your body is screaming for rest after days at the parks, sooth your jangled nerves at Disney's Grand Floridian Spa. Immerse yourself in luxury with one or two feel-good treatments guaranteed to rejuvenate and swiftly get you back on your feet and ready for another long day of walking. For the ultimate in romance consider the Grand Romantic Evening where, in a candle-lit couple's room, each person receives an aromatherapy massage.

Most importantly slow down and enjoy the magic. Resist the urge to see everything at breakneck speed. You can't possibly cover it all, so think of this as your first trip to Disney, not your last. There will be time to pick up all the things you missed on the next go-round. Be spontaneous. If something catches your eye, even if it's not on your daily list of things to do, stop and explore or else you may miss something wonderful.

Visiting The Magic Kingdom With Small Children

Author: Jessica Mitchell

Source: isnare.com

When traveling, disney acting auditions, to the Magic Kingdom with children, it is important to perform advanced planning before arriving in Florida, disney acting auditions, . Preparing for this trip will make the difference in a stressful family vacation and a fabulous, magical vacation that your family will always remember.

The Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World in Florida is one of the world's most popular vacation destinations. Millions of visitors tour the Magic Kingdom, disney acting auditions, Park each year and although it is the smallest of all four Disney Florida Parks, it is also the most crowded. It is not uncommon to see families touring the parks in the hot Florida sun, with parents yelling, disney acting auditions, at their children and the children crying or screaming for something. This tends to happen as families spend a lot of money on this type of vacation and want to be sure to "get their moneys worth". This leads them to drag their families throughout the park, with over-tired, hot and hungry children. It is important, disney acting auditions, to remember that children function best when in their normal daily, disney acting auditions, routine. Their days at Walt Disney World will be filled with early mornings, off schedule (or skipped) naps, changes in eating times, and late nights. Also the weather in Orlando can be extremely hot and humid or very rainy, depending on when you visit. It is crucial that parents understand that children will be on sensory overload and will be out of their routines when on vacation.

You can visit the Magic Kingdom with children and still have a fabulous time. If you are only able to visit for one day, you should arrive at the parks before its scheduled opening time. As the park opens you should visit Fantasyland (if traveling with small children) or Frontierland (for older children). A one day touring schedule is possible, however, if traveling with children you will have to be willing to limit your list of "must-see" attractions. With children, it is always better to allot two full days at the Magic Kingdom. This will allow you to tour at a calmer pace and allow your children to take in all that the park has to offer.

Your advanced planning when visiting the Magic Kingdom should include deciding what time of year to visit, what day of the week will be least crowded, and how many days you have to visit the Magic Kingdom. You should also review the park layout and policies before you arrive. Being knowledgeable on the attractions will help you decide which ones you would like to visit before even arriving in Orlando. Reviewing Disney information on stroller rentals, the Fastpass system and parades and shows are just a few examples of things you should strive to learn about before you arrive. This will allow you to maximize your time at the Magic Kingdom and concentrate on your Disney family vacation.

A little planning will help you create your best visit to the Magic Kingdom!

Disneyland Fastpass Secrets & Tips

Author: Richie Anderson

Source: articleage.com

In 1999 the Disney parks introduced the world to FastPass. A free service that uses computerized ticket machines to allow visitors the opportunity to avoid standing in line for the most popular attractions throughout the Disneyland Resort. Waiting in long lines has now become a thing of the past for those who know the ins & out of how to use FastPass.
How the FastPass reservation machines work:
The FastPass attraction machines are extremely easy to use. Just look for the FastPass machines at a participating show or attraction and insert your park admission ticket. The FastPass machine will print you a ticket with a one hour time slot in which you can return and experience the attraction without having to wait, disney acting auditions, in the full length of the queue. Once you have your reservation you can use the time to visit other attractions, pose for a picture with Mickey Mouse, or get an autograph from you favorite Disney Princess. When it is time for your FastPass reservation make your way back to the attraction, hand your pass to the cast member at the entrance and enjoy the ride without any lengthy line.
There are a few restrictions involved with Disney FastPass though. Each guest may hold only one FastPass for one attraction every two hours or after the one-hour window expires; whichever comes first.
Tips & Secrets:

Not all of the machines within the parks are connected to the same reservation system. Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin (Disneyland) and Grizzly River Run (California Adventure) are each on a totally separate computer reservation system. The machines at these attractions are not able to detect if you currently have, disney acting auditions, a reservation at another attraction, which makes it possible to hold a second FastPass reservation at these attractions while still having another reservation elsewhere.
The bottom of your Disney FastPass reservation ticket will tell you what time you can acquire another FastPass. This is usually the same time as the beginning of your one hour return slot, which means that you can make another FastPass reservation before you've even used your, disney acting auditions, first FastPass. The best strategy to maximize the number of attractions you visit in a day is to always get another FastPass ticket A.S.A.P.
One little known and very unofficial FastPass secret is that the passes don't really expire after the ending time listed on them - hang onto them and use them a few hours later. This way you aren't forced to rush back and forth across the park to ride at certain times. Cast Members have been instructed to honor the late arrivals since they don't really know the circumstances which have made that guest late.
AAA offers vacation packages that include an "Enhanced, disney acting auditions, FastPass". This version of FastPass doesn't have restrictions and users can collect one FastPass after another without time or quantity restrictions. The AAA packages including this "Enhanced FastPass" are not cheap, but if you are willing to pay you'll find the benefits are well worth it.

It's All In The Systems

Author: David Handler

Have you ever noticed french fries taste the same at every McDonald's? The same can be said for Subway and its Italian BMT. How do these fast food icons replicate themselves at nearly 40,000 locations when some eateries struggle to get it right in a single restaurant? The answer is simple: it's all in the systems.
Picture yourself waiting in line inside McDonald's. Look across the counter and you notice the shiny, disney acting auditions, french fry machine. Standing in front of it is a high school student. What is she doing?
Chances are she's executing a procedure someone trained her on the first day. A system that goes something like this: "Take the bag out of the freezer. Empty french fries into the wire basket until full. Lower the basket into the hot oil. Push the green button. Return the bag to the freezer. When the buzzer rings, push the red button. Take the basket out of the oil and empty fries onto the holding area. Sprinkle the salt shaker four times over the, disney acting auditions, fries. Take a white bag and fill it with fries using the silver, disney acting auditions, utensil. Place the bag under the heat lamps. Repeat with different size bags until the basket is empty and all fries are ready to serve."
I spent six years in the franchising industry as head of marketing for an international franchisor. Today, as a professional business coach, I help small business leaders develop and implement systems to make their companies work like McDonald's and Subway.
Franchising is a major part of the, disney acting auditions, U.S. economy, accounting for 14 percent of private-sector employment and more than $1.5 trillion of annual economic output (International Franchise Association). The fastest-growing franchising companies - names like Curves and Quizno's - understand the impact of having detailed systems for every aspect of their operations.
A common approach taught to new franchisees - originating in Michael Gerber's book "The E-Myth" - is to work ON your business and not IN your business. This means taking time to step back and plan where you want your business to go, then setting about working your plan.
Think about your employees. Do all understand their specific role in making your business successful? Or do you occasionally have thoughts of, "Why can't they just get it?" If you find things falling through the cracks, then treating your business like a franchise would mean creating a job description for each position.
These one-page summaries identify every responsibility, with specific details such as which positions take out the trash, answer the phone and batch credit card charges each day. Taking the time to create these will transform every position into a meaningful role, ensuring you have all of the bases covered. It will allow you to hire for specific positions, enabling, disney acting auditions, you to focus on finding the right people, which will help you achieve greater productivity.
I previously co-founded a sports travel company. One of our biggest clients was Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, where we often took more than 1,000 people to events. I also received executive training at the Disney Institute. From these frequent interactions with Walt Disney World Resort, I learned important lessons that I continue to share, disney acting auditions, with clients. The most valuable of these are the "4 P's of Disney":
Planning - It's almost a clich้, but it is truly important to know where you want to go…or you may wind up somewhere else. Take time to organize your thoughts, consider options and make educated decisions before setting out in a direction.
Processes - Make sure you have systems for every aspect of your business, from unlocking the front door in the morning, to handling upset customers, to turning off the lights at night. The more organized your procedures, the better likelihood your employees will be able to execute them.
Partnering - If you have ever been to Walt Disney World, think about all the kiosks and shops that sell merchandise. Now think about designing, manufacturing, ordering, taking delivery and disseminating products throughout the four theme parks each day. It requires orchestrated coordination between multiple departments. Whatever the size of your company, be sure your employees understand the importance of partnering together.
Performance - Disney believes if you can do it, you can measure it. Take time to measure your performance. Then adjust your plan, re-measure and adjust again…always moving forward in a continuous improvement cycle.
Treating your small business like a franchise by developing systems that work may not make you the next Blockbuster, but it may enable you to better serve your customers and increase sales, disney acting auditions, .

Disney Savings Guide - Find the Best One For Your Disney World Vacation

Author: Nancy Bobby

Source: ezinearticles.com

It seems like only yesterday, disney acting auditions, that we let our then 7 year old daughter know that we were finally "going to Disney World". The memory of her squeals and excitement are with me to this day. We had saved for a long time in order to be able to take this trip, and had a wonderful time when we went. I learned a great deal about the best way to plan a Disney vacation, and quickly realized that in order to have an affordable Disney family vacation, there was a lot of research involved. And I also learned that a Disney savings guide was essential if I wanted to save any kind of money on this trip at all.

It can be challenging to choose, disney acting auditions, the best Disney travel guide though, because there are so many! They all look promising, with colorful pictures of happy families having the time of their lives. But which ones will actually help you save money on your Disney vacation? This article will, disney acting auditions, review some of the most, disney acting auditions,, disney acting auditions, popular, and provide my opinions on what each has to offer.

To begin, there is Birnbaum's Walt Disney World, the Disney-approved, classic travel guide. This was the first guide that I bought for our initial trip, and it was a helpful beginning to my planning. With great pictures, some nice maps that help the Disney novice to become familiar with the layout of the parks, and reviews of the major rides and attractions, it is a great start to learning all about Disney World. However, it does not provide much information about how to save money: since it is the "official" Disney vacation guide, there is not much discussion about non-Disney options for food or lodging. So, while this is a great guide to start with, particularly for your first visit, it would not be my first choice for a good Disney savings guide.

Probably the most well-known of the many Disney World vacation guides is the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. It, disney acting auditions, is also arguably the most comprehensive guide as well, at well over 800 pages. There is a lot of information, disney acting auditions, in this travel guide, as the author thoroughly covers nearly every potential aspect to a trip to the Orlando area in extensive detail. And it is unbiased as well, which is appreciated by many who want to know more than the Disney perspective. The author does an admirable job of providing lots of options for saving money, and it can be a very helpful option for a Disney savings guide. Orlando Travel-getting There And Getting Around

Author: Jack Krohn

Source: articledashboard.com

By far the most popular means of getting to Orlando is by air.

Orlando International airport is one of three airports serving the metroplex. It handles 31 million passengers a year and is one of the top airports in the country consistently voted one of the top 5 in the country for customer convenience. It is serviced by more than 37 carriers with more than 60 non stop arrivals, disney acting auditions, (not to mention all the connecting flights) from US and international, disney acting auditions, destinations daily. There are private charter carriers as well. Sanford Int'l airport is home to a small fleet of Int'l carriers.

Orlando is located in east central Florida on Interstate 4. A lot of vacationers from the southeast find it easy to drive to Orlando. The interstate highway system certainly makes it easier.

Amtrak runs a passenger trains to Orlando. There is even a car train that, disney acting auditions, starts in Lorton VA for those who want their own car but don't want to drive to Orlando.

Unless you are staying at Walt Disney World (WDW) you will need a car. There are taxis, limos, buses, horse drawn carriages too. For the easiest way to get around, get a car. Just be aware that under the best of circumstances traffic is very congested just like any other city this size.

If you are staying at WDW everything that you might want to do is within walking distance and the transportation system of WDW is available. The WDW transportation system is by bus, monorail, water taxi, or ferry. You sacrifice some freedom for big savings on gas insurance, parking, and of course the rental fees. It runs to and from all Walt Disney properties well into the night. Remember though Walt Disney World is 47 sq. miles and is only part of Orlando. That's a lot of ground to cover.

A lot of the bigger hotels offer shuttle service to the theme parks and the airport-just be careful it may or may not be free so do your homework.

The decision on getting a car may be the most important decision of your stay in Orlando.

Even if you are staying in WDW you may still want to get, disney acting auditions, a car, disney acting auditions, . There are several things to take into consideration in making this decision. They would include:

---Time of year. The busier times of the year create longer lines waiting for ground transportation.

---Where you are staying. Proximity to where you want to spend your time is a factor.

---Length of stay. You can do almost anything for a day or two, but if your stay exceeds that shuttle hopping is not a fun sport.

---The convenience factor. Let's face it having a car is convenient and exudes freedom to do what you want when you want to do it.

---Size and makeup of your family. Think about the stroller etc and the little ones on and off, disney acting auditions, the shuttle bus. Get the idea? Been there done that-NO THANKS!

Take the ideas and suggestion above to heart because transportation is a critical part of your vacation fun in Orlando. Making the wrong decision on getting a car could ruin your stay.

Walt Disney's Failures Could Inspire Entrepreneurs

Author: Stephen Schochet

Source: articleage.com

You are a struggling entrepreneur and sometimes it feels like you are pushing a 3 ton boulder up a steep hill. Costs keep mounting and you are considering giving up. Well before you do, check out these 10 setbacks that Walt Disney had, some were financial nightmares that put him millions of dollars in the red:
1) Walt formed his first animation company in Kansas City in 1921. He made a deal with a distribution company in New York, in which he would, disney acting auditions, ship them his cartoons and get paid six months down the road. Flushed with success, he began to experiment with new storytelling techniques, his costs went up and then the distributor went bankrupt. He was forced to dissolve his company and at one point could not pay his rent and was surviving by eating dog food.
2) Walt created a mildly successful cartoon character in 1926 called Oswald the Rabbit. When, disney acting auditions, he tried to negotiate with his distributor, Universal Studios, for better rates for each cartoon, he was informed that Universal had obtained ownership of the Oswald character and they had hired Disney's artists out from under him.
3) When Walt tried to get MGM studios to distribute Mickey Mouse in 1927 he was told that the idea would never work-- a, disney acting auditions, giant mouse on the screen would terrify women.
4) The Three Little Pigs was rejected by distributors in 1933 because it only had four characters, it was felt at that time that cartoons should have as many figures on the screen as possible. It later became very successful and played at one theater so long that the poster outside featured the pigs with long white beards.
5) Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was sneak previewed to College Students in 1937 who left halfway during the film causing Disney great despair. It turned out the students had to leave early because of dorm curfew.
6) Pinocchio in 1940 became extra expensive because Walt shut down the production to make the puppet, disney acting auditions, more sympathetic than the lying juvenile delinquent as presented in the original Carlo Collodi, disney acting auditions, story. He also resurrected a minor character, an unnamed cricket who tried to tell Pinocchio the difference between right and wrong until the puppet killed him with the mallet. Excited by the development of Jiminy Cricket plus the revamped, misguided rather than rotten Pinocchio, Walt poured extra money into the film's special effects and it ended up losing a million dollars in it's first release.
7) For the premiere of Pinocchio Walt hired 11 midgets, dressed them up like the little puppet and put them on top of Radio City Music Hall in New York with a full day's supply of food and wine. The idea was they would wave hello to the little children entering into the theater. By the middle of the hot afternoon, there were 11 drunken naked midgets running around the top of the marquee, screaming obscenities at the crowd below. The most embarrassed people were the police who had to climb up ladders and take the little fellows off in pillowcases.
8) Walt never lived to see Fantasia become a success. 1940 audiences were put off by it's lack of a story. Also the final scene, The Night On Bald Mountain sequence with the devil damning the souls of the dead, was considered, disney acting auditions, unfit for children.
9) In 1942, Walt was in attendance for the premiere of Bambi. In the dramatic scene where Bambi's mother died, Bambi was shown wandering through the, disney acting auditions, meadow shouting," Mother! Where are you, Mother?" A teenage girl seated in the balcony shouted out, " Here I am Bambi!" The audience broke into laughter except for the red-faced Walt who concluded correctly that war-time was not the best time to release a film about the love-life of a deer.
10) The sentimental Pollyanna in 1960 made Walt cry at the studio screening but failed at the box office. Walt concluded that the title was off-putting for young boys.
Walt was human, he suffered through many fits of anger and depression through his many trials. Yet he learned from each setback, and continued to take even bigger, disney acting auditions, risks which combined with the wisdom that experiencing failure can provide, led to fabulous financial rewards.

Seven Ways To Put Show Biz Into Your Trade Show

Author: Susan Freidmann

Source: articlesfactory.com

The best way to attract and mobilize more customers to attend your trade show is to bring a "show biz" mentality to all your marketing and at-show strategies. After all, you are in show business. In today's marketplace, consumers are drawn by glitter and excitement but turned off by humdrum events. If you put on a dull show you will generate little interest. Following are seven ways to put more show biz into your exposition.

Think like Disney.

There was never a greater promoter than Walt Disney. Everything he touched turned exciting, colorful, and was bursting with energy. The Disney legacy continues as the Disney Corporation dazzles and entertains millions with its products, parks, and superb customer service.

What does Disney do that every trade show organizer should emulate? Disney injects a show business mentality into everything it does by creating an image that makes people smile and lets them know they're in for a first-class experience. Disney employees undergo rigorous customer service training and are famous for their courtesy, cheerfulness, and problem-solving skills.

So when planning your pre-show marketing strategies, remember to think like Disney. Everything you do to promote and implement your show must be first-class, creative, and professional. Train your show, disney acting auditions, employees to provide enthusiastic, disney acting auditions, and helpful customer service. Unpleasant experiences with trade show employees can ruin the show biz experience you've worked hard to create.

Make your trade shows interactive.

When people manipulate objects they often form an attachment to them. They get an idea of how the products work and are more excited about the possibility of buying them. Thus,, disney acting auditions, advise your exhibitors to set up audio-visual displays that attendees can easily operate -- they will feel like they are part of the show experience as they connect with your products.

Put the Internet to work for you.

You can interact with potential exhibitors and attendees through the Internet, both in your pre-show marketing and during the show. Experts believe that virtually all trade shows will incorporate the Internet into their marketing strategies in the near future.

At the very least, you should have a professionally designed Web site that provides information about your show, allowing consumers, disney acting auditions, to easily find out as much about your event as possible. Today's techno-savvy, disney acting auditions, consumers are instantly turned off by Web sites that aren't interesting, easy to access, and informative.

Make your shows unforgettable experiences.

"If meetings are really going to change our lives, meeting professionals need to begin to shape memorable events," said Jim Gilmour, author of The Experience Economy: Work is Theatre & Every Business is a Stage. "Successful meetings must create emotionally based experiences for attendees," Gilmour said.
How do you generate such an experience? Again, think Disney. Capture the imaginations of attendees by providing a wealth of sights, sounds, aromas, and entertainment, along with a high degree of interactivity.

Make your trade shows fun.

Live entertainment, educational seminars, clowns, puppeteers, and magicians are just a few of the tools you can use to make your show fun and informative. Advise your exhibitors not to rely on their products alone to sell the show biz experience. Booths filled with inanimate objects are boring and won't capture the attention of your audience. However, if you support your exhibitors by injecting a little excitement into the show, you'll have attendees in the palm of your hand.

Provide lots of comfortable space.

Make sure you have enough space at your show, both on the exhibition floor and in the booths, to comfortably accommodate your guests. Don't try to cram as many booths as possible into the space allotted, disney acting auditions, . A cramped show environment does not allow attendees free rein to wander comfortably, and harried, crowded consumers don't make good customers.

Help your exhibitors design their booths so they don't sacrifice comfort for hardware. Booths that are crowded with display items make it difficult for consumers, disney acting auditions, to focus their attention on each item. Advise your exhibitors to set up their booths so that attendees can see everything clearly in an uncluttered space. Booths should provide good lighting, easy-to-read signage, and attention-grabbing, disney acting auditions, graphics. Consider publishing a brief pamphlet of booth design tips and distribute it to, disney acting auditions, exhibitors.

Inject show biz excitement into your advertising and public relations.

Without resorting to hyperbole, your advertising should reflect the excitement, creativity, and flavor of your event. Observe how the producers of movies and Broadway, disney acting auditions, musicals advertise their shows and incorporate as many of those elements as are feasible in your own advertising. Every ad you place should showcase the opportunities that your show offers.

Train your most trusted show employees to lead the media to the most engaging exhibits. Have a staff member on hand at all times who can articulately tell reporters about your event and what makes it unique.

Remember you are in show biz, and you must create and promote an event that is as exciting and dramatic as a great movie or play. Your exhibition space is your stage. In order to generate interest, you must put on a performance that will keep attendees riveted to your exhibits and eager to come back for the sequel!

Orlando Vacation Villas: The Best Way to Enjoy a Disney Vacation

Author: Mark Whichard

Source: articlesbase.com

If you want to enjoy your Disney vacation to its maximum, consider Orlando vacation villas as your choice of accommodation rather than a hotel. This is particularly true if you have a few children with, disney acting auditions, you and you would like a bit of peace and quiet now and again. In order to explain that, just consider a hotel for a while. You have booked yourself, your partner and the kids into a lovely hotel for a couple of weeks, and are looking forward to a great holiday in Orlando, visiting Disney and also many of the other attractions that this part of Florida has to offer. After checking in comes the first problem. Who sleeps, disney acting auditions, where? Unless you have booked a family room, with everybody spending, disney acting auditions, the vacation in the same room, either the children have to be given their own room, or you and your partner have to split, each sharing the children between you. A lot, disney acting auditions, depends upon how many you have. However, in the final analysis it, disney acting auditions, doesn't matter if you have two children or four or even six. You either enjoy your vacation with just the two of you in your own room, and the children in theirs or you don't. Even now, you can see where Orlando vacation, disney acting auditions, villas are suddenly beginning to look attractive. No matter how well behaved your kids are, you will always be wondering what they are getting up to, and that isn't your only problem with a hotel. If your children have reached that age when they must have their own bedrooms, particularly if you have boys and girls, then the hotel costs are going to be pretty steep. There are more problems, but let's forget them all, because Disney vacation should not involve problems of any kind. Let's stop for a minute and look at how a Disney vacation villa can solve all of these problems.First the rooms: you can rent an Orlando vacation villa with up to six bedrooms, and you need to have an awful lot of kids to fill that. Likely a three bedroom villa would suit you, where two children can have their own rooms, or up to two boys and two girls, disney acting auditions, can share, each of the four having their own bed. They share rooms, but no need to share beds. Each has its own TV and DVD player and is also en suite. Some even have a games console in the rooms, so nobody is going to get bored. A family of six can live in one of these vacation villas in Orlando vary comfortably, with its own pool for just a little extra, spa, games room and even the kitchen where you can rustle up some breakfast or supper, and still eat out for lunch and dinner if your prefer - you can't cook in a hotel! But that must cost a fortune, mustn't it! No way can you afford that. Well, yes, there is way you can do that. Consider the relative costs. First the hotel, disney acting auditions, . What do you need? A room for you two, one for the boys and one for the girls. Three hotel rooms close to Disney World. Cheap? Absolutely - not!!Now check the three-bedroom Orlando villa rental. Set in a great resort with a private pool and spa, you pay $160 a night. That's for all of you! That equates to three double hotel rooms at $54 a night. It's a no-brainer. It's £27 a person! You won't find a hotel anywhere for that price unless you take your own bedbug catcher. But that's not all: you can get a four bedroom villa with more amenities for just under $200 a night - that's $50 a room. There is nothing a hotel can offer that you won't get either in your own villa or offered in one of the many, disney acting auditions, restaurants and amenity centers that are everywhere in Orlando. And you are only 15 minutes from Disney! You have your own DVD player to play your own videos, or rent one for the night. That will be a lot less expensive that watching hotel movies!Your kids can go to bed any time they like, and watch the movies they want to watch, or view their own TV programs. Perhaps play with the Playstation, but the main thing is that you know they are safe in the same house as you.Compare that to a hotel: you are continually worried about your children in the rooms next door - are they slipping out without you knowing, are they breaking anything, are the movies suitable. In fact, how much are they running up on the bill by watching these late-night TV movies? If it has a pool it is shared with the entire hotel, you can't cook your own food if you feel like it and your drinks will be at hotel bar prices compared to drinking your own home-made cocktails by your own private pool while you cook up some steaks and mushrooms. That's a vacation!

Bambi (DVD) Review

Author: Britt Gillette -

Nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Music - Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture, Bambi is a true animated classic of the silver screen. Long before the public's introduction to Aladdin, The Lion King, or Finding Nemo, Walt Disney single-handedly conjured the full-length animated feature film out of nothing and into an enduring, well-respected genre - creating one family classic after another, starting with Snow White (1937) then Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), and Dumbo (1941) before creating this gem in 1942. Directed by David Hand, a longtime Disney animator and supervising director of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Bambi is a masterpiece of color, motion, and the beauty of life. Its relative simplicity harkens to a time long past when such movies focused on symbolism, emotional breadth, and challenging the boundaries of artistic creativity, instead of catering to a perceived audience demographic. The result is a truly remarkable and memorable family experience…

Bambi begins with the forest birth of a young fawn (Bambi), disney acting auditions, who comes into the world surrounded by an anxious crowd of admirers. Hailed as the "great prince of the forest," Bambi is thrust into an exotic world of animal and plant life, complete with all the highs and lows experienced in the world of reality. One of the film's most powerful scenes (and the one most often referenced in regard to Bambi) is when the dreaded "man" (i.e. a band of hunters) enters the forest and kills Bambi's mother. Although the scene takes place off camera, Disney manages to convey all the emotional trauma of the event in the brevity of a few bold and powerful brushstrokes.

As Bambi seeks to recover from his mother's death, he must learn to grow from a fumbling fawn into a fearless buck. The charming scenes of Bambi bumbling across a frozen pond are soon overshadowed by the power of his maturation into a formidable leader. Assisting, disney acting auditions, him on his journey is a parade of unique personalities, the most notable of whom is a rabbit named Thumper. Thumper's vocal velocity and eagerness to befriend Bambi threaten steal the show, but the growing deer never loses his deserved spotlight. Throw in a skunk, disney acting auditions, named Flower and a beautiful doe named Faline (Bambi's love interest), and the film comes together in its own right, creating a combination of tragedy and triumph all ages can enjoy…

In stark contrast, disney acting auditions, to its contemporary peers, Bambi is a refreshing exit from today's highly commercial animated features. Although Thumper provides the, disney acting auditions, necessary comic relief, the film is more than just a deluge of juvenile one-liners - and boasts absolutely zero fart jokes. Instead, Bambi wraps a timeless story of a life's journey to adulthood in the majesty that, disney acting auditions, is mother nature. Its ingenious illustration of a forest teeming with wildlife and the dangers encountered by its inhabitants is truly awe-inspiring. In short, Bambi has all the makings of a tinsel-town classic - one that should make today's Disney creations utterly green with envy…
